General Information and History

Our faculty was established on 10 January 2012 with the decision published in the Government Gazette numbered 28169. Our faculty continues its educational activities with its academic staff and students after the Department of Primary Education Religious Culture and Moral Teaching, which was previously within Muallim Rıfat Education Faculty, was connected to our faculty in the 2012-2013 academic year.

 

Our students in the Department of Theology continue their education. The first student admission to the Department of Theology of our faculty was carried out in the 2013-2014 academic year; A total of 110 students, including daytime and evening education, started education.

 

As of the 2024-2025 academic year, our faculty staff includes a total of 72 academic personnel: 1 Professor, 11 Associate Professors, 18 Assistant Professors, 10 Lecturers, 32 Research Assistans, and 4 Foreign Academic Staff. In addition, a total of administrative personnel are employed, consisting of 1 Faculty Secretary, 1 Dean's Office Secretary and Clerk, 1 Department Secretary, 1 Paymaster, 1 Movable Property Registration Officer, and 5 Janitorial Staff.
